About the Role
A Manhattan-based luxury real estate company seeks an experienced Doorperson for its luxury rental building portfolio in Brooklyn, Long Island City, and Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a residential building or related security role, coupled with strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents.
- Screen and announce guests.
- Enforce building security.
- Accept and manage packages.
- Answer phones.
- Enter information into building-managing portal.
Requirements
- Three (3) years or more of Doorperson or Security experience (residential building experience is preferred).
- Ability to speak and write clearly.
- Capability to pay close attention to detail.
- Must have flexible work availability.
- Must be available to work overtime as needed.
- Some Porter work may be required.
- Some heavy lifting (50+ lbs.) may be required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have experience using a computer on the job.
- Experience using BuildingLink.com is a plus.
