About the Role

AIM provides supported employment services to people with disabilities under contract with ACCES-VR and OPWDD. Our employment specialists help individuals develop work skills, connect with local employers, and receive job training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

Provide supported employment services.
Assist individuals in developing work skills.
Connect individuals with local employers.
Offer job training and ongoing support.
Conduct community-based work assessments.
Provide benefits advisement.
Deliver self-advocacy training.
Conduct job skills training, including resume building and practice interviews.
Facilitate a two-week work readiness program covering daily living skills, workplace conduct, employer expectations, communication, and goal setting.
Build relationships with employers who hire people with disabilities.
Arrange work-based learning, work experiences, and job placements.
Provide on-site job coaching and ongoing support to maintain employment.
