About the Role
Performs repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to mass-produce components or to assemble those components. Follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Responsibilities
- Operates injection molding machines.
- Visually inspects molded components.
- Completes required production reports, including cycle times, scrap count, and downtime.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the floor lead or department supervisor.
- Follows written documentation and procedures for specific jobs.
- Trims, de-gates, and/or clips parts as needed.
- Assists in reclaiming inserts.
- Prepares packaging for the next shift operator.
- Completes tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Performs basic machine functions relevant to assigned tasks.
- Enters production data into IQMS.
- Works on special projects and related assignments when requested.
- May be required to work in various production areas.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
- Must be familiar with basic machine functions to perform assigned tasks.
- Must adhere to all safety precautions, including wearing appropriate safety equipment.
- Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work in a moderate to loud noise environment.

Experience Level
- Minimum 1 year factory related experience
Education Level
- High school diploma or GED required
