About the Role
Level 1 Assemblers are trained in product assembly but are not yet certified as final assemblers. This role functions as an assistant or is in training towards certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all final assembly positions
- Provide general production support
- Perform final assembly for tapping sleeves
- Perform final assembly for ultra-sleeves
- Perform final assembly for TX3
- Perform final assembly for repair clamps
- Operate production equipment following good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
- Build product subassemblies or final assemblies
- Prepare and assemble materials
- Maintain inventory of job materials
- Package finished products
- Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements
- Start up and shut down processing equipment
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations, policies, and procedures
- Clean production equipment and work areas
- Select appropriate cleaning materials, tools, and equipment
