About the Role
VIVE Collision is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician for a busy shop offering steady work, modern equipment, paid training, and a supportive team environment. This role is crucial for performing vehicle repairs and ensuring high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Perform replacement and repair of bolt-on and weld-on panels according to manufacturer and company standards.
- Execute structural and non-structural repairs, including airbag replacement and minor mechanical work.
- Meet or exceed company performance standards for technician efficiency, cycle time, and quality.
- Collaborate with Production Managers and Estimators regarding repair progress and supplemental needs.
- Follow all safety protocols, utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to proper repair procedures and hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
- Test drive vehicles after repairs to verify safe operation and repair quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of auto body collision repair experience.
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) are required.
- Must supply your own tools in good working condition.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret repair instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
