About the Role
We are seeking a Vehicle Suppression Technician to join our team and drive the fire and security industry forward. This role offers a career path with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and service of off-road vehicle suppression systems.
- Inspect and service fire suppression systems on heavy equipment and machinery.
- Represent Koorsen professionally and positively.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
- Maintain communication and cooperation with Koorsen staff.
- Adhere to safety rules and practice good driving habits.
- Follow Koorsen policies and procedures.
- Complete and process required paperwork promptly.
- Work efficiently and utilize resources to complete jobs.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep the work truck clean and organized.
- Manage inventory and tools for each job.
- Coordinate with equipment dealers as needed.
- Manage installation job sites efficiently, safely, and professionally.
- Complete product certifications.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Possess mechanical aptitude and background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Hold an active Driver's License in good standing.
- Meet safe driving policy criteria to operate a company vehicle.
- Pass drug and background screenings.
- Maintain a clean drug screen.
Skills
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to access and tolerate small crawl spaces.
- Ability to access all areas of the route vehicle, including loading and unloading materials.
- Willingness to travel significant distances on occasion.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to respond to emergency service calls at all hours.
