About the Role
Our Hotel Guest Room Attendants are responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals through the maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of guests' rooms.
Responsibilities
- Clean assigned rooms/suites to the standards of the hotel.
- Maintain shelf organization in the storerooms.
- Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms/suites.
- Spot clean walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
- Vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop, and clean carpet and flooring in guest rooms.
- Dust, brush, polish, clean and vacuum furniture, glass, mirrors, curtains, framed pictures, appliances and other structural fixtures and furnishings in guest rooms.
- Scrub, disinfect and deodorize showers, toilets, wash basins, and other bathroom and vanity fixtures.
- Strip beds, collect dirty linens, and make beds with fresh linens.
- Replenish linens, amenities and other supplies in guest rooms.
- Wash, dry and fold linens in the laundry area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, lift or crawl.
