About the Role
DigiStream Investigations is seeking a Private/Surveillance Investigator in the greater New York City region. This role offers excitement, travel, autonomy, and purpose, providing clients with evidence for insurance-related cases.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, following, and videotaping subjects during their day-to-day activities
- Conducting vehicle and foot pursuits of subjects while maintaining cover
- Filming subjects at various locations such as grocery stores, restaurants, sporting events, or casinos
- Developing pre-surveillance strategies based on location and case details
- Writing detailed reports on observed activities and submitting video evidence
- Communicating regularly with the team leader regarding setup positions, activity, and tactics
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years or older
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments
- Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to start work as early as 5:00 am daily with occasional work into the evenings
- Must currently live in the greater NYC area
- Ability to pass DMV check and background check
- Confident driving skills
- No PI license required; licensure cost and process are covered
- Availability to work a 5-day per week schedule with an average of 10-12 hours per day, including weekends and holidays
