About the Role
Lead the daily clinical operations of a Primary & Specialty Care Practice, blending hands-on nursing with team leadership, workflow oversight, and quality improvement. Support staff, foster a positive patient experience, and ensure smooth practice operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support clinical staff; manage daily workflow and staffing
- Oversee telephone triage and ensure ClearTriage usage
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborate with nursing leads to support smooth clinic operations
- Address patient concerns and support resolution
- Manage invoices, documentation, and quality improvement tasks
Requirements
- Familiarity with computers, EMR software (Medent), and MS Office software (Outlook, Word)
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential

Experience Level
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical setting, with ambulatory outpatient experience preferred
- Experience supervising staff strongly preferred
Education Level
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR a documented plan to complete a BSN within NYSED's RN BSN requirement timeframe OR Associate degree with degree/license dates meeting NYSED’s exemption requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
- Current BCLS certification
