About the Role
Seeking a challenging role as a Senior IT Specialist DevOps Engineer with significant societal and social benefit, focusing on digital transformation within the Renten Service of Deutsche Post AG.
Responsibilities
- Conceiving, developing, and implementing IT production control processes for the Renten Service's specific IT infrastructure and applications.
- Contributing to the development of customer-specific solutions and architectures, with a focus on IT security, data backup, high availability, state-of-the-art technologies, and ensuring IT operations in disaster scenarios.
- Performing operational administration of IT systems and applications.
- Managing releases to meet business requirements based on defined standards.
- Consulting on IT projects for development departments as an IT Operation Architect and executing IT projects of medium to high complexity.
Requirements
- University degree (e.g., Computer Science focus) or job-oriented vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) with many years of IT professional experience.
- Excellent administrative IT knowledge in Linux, virtualization, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, event streaming, document-oriented databases, and Identity and Access Management.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, ELK Stack, and Keycloak technologies.
- Analytical, planning, and organizational skills, as well as innovative thinking.
- Open, agile, and DevOps mindset.
- Willingness to travel for business (under 20% of working time).
- Negotiation-level German (minimum C1).
- Good English skills (minimum B1).
