About the Role
This is an important job where every team member makes a difference in providing clean linens for hospitals and healthcare workers. Good attendance, punctuality, and teamwork are essential for daily success. The purpose of this role is to provide quality linen products and services to healthcare facilities in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and maintain good attendance.
- Meet daily production and quality goals.
- Feed, sort, inspect, and process linens using industrial equipment.
- Check linens for stains, tears, holes, and wear.
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
- Work well with others as part of a team.
- Follow instructions from team leads and supervisors.
- Keep your work area clean and safe.
- Be willing to work additional hours when needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Learn and work in other production areas as needed.
Requirements
- Stand and work on your feet for 10–12 hour shifts, with applicable breaks.
- Push and pull wheeled linen carts weighing up to 800 pounds.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Bend, twist, reach, and perform repeated movements throughout the shift.
- Use basic computers and printers when needed.
- Follow directions and work well with others.
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
