About the Role

This position is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, and cylinders.
Install and maintain utility equipment including boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and cooling towers.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical equipment.
Change out and setup equipment.
Complete prefabrication related tasks and run machine shop equipment.
Perform basic math functions.
Work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Work on demand in emergency situations.
Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
Complete all paperwork CMMS/SAP functions.
Keep all work areas clean.
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
Perform any other work as assigned by management.
Push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently.
Lift with arms up to floor to waist and waist to shoulder up to 40 pounds.
Use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.
Reach high and low levels, frequently.
Stand/stoop/walk/bend up to 10 hours.
Climb stairs.
Work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 10 degrees.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the application's work history or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
