About the Role
Beacon's talent function is scaling rapidly, supporting corporate functions and a growing roster of portfolio companies. This role will own the end-to-end infrastructure for talent operations, including data management, reporting, and process design, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Own Ashby configuration, workflows, integrations, and data hygiene.
- Build the reporting layer for funnel metrics, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring velocity.
- Design and document repeatable workflows for the talent function.
- Partner with the Recruiting Coordinator to manage scheduling, candidate communications, and interview logistics.
- Identify and deploy AI and automation tools to reduce administrative burden in candidate screening and scheduling.
- Standardize the candidate journey across corporate and portfolio company searches.
- Collaborate with VP of Talent and Finance on headcount planning.
- Partner with legal and People teams on offer letters, background checks, and candidate handoffs.
- Establish data structures for portfolio company requisitions, candidates, and hires at a holding company scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years in recruiting operations, HR technology, or business systems administration.
- Demonstrated ownership of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), with Ashby strongly preferred.
- Experience building processes from scratch in a new talent function.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build dashboards and identify impactful metrics.
- Systems thinking capability to map workflow impacts on reporting and integrations.
- Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving, small-team, multi-entity environment.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
