About the Role
McAllister Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Installer to join their Hamburg, NY team. The role requires a strong willingness to learn and grow, with a desire to develop proficiency in residential installations.
Responsibilities
- Perform and lead installations of residential HVAC equipment, such as furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini-splits, AC units, and more
- Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and address HVAC concerns
- Ensure the HVAC equipment that was installed is clean and safe upon departure
- Work with other installers and apprentices on job sites, provide direction and guidance when necessary
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment as required by the job
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2-5 years of HVAC experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour Certificate and/or EPA Universal Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
