About the Role
Major Food Group is seeking Hosts to join their team at Parm Woodbury in Central Valley. This role is crucial for creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Greets and seats guests, presents menus, and informs them of specials.
- Ensures guest satisfaction by exceeding expectations.
- Manages guest waitlists and seating arrangements.
- Monitors table status (clean, dirty, occupied).
- Provides accurate wait time estimates.
- Maintains the host area, including menus.
- Answers phone calls and provides information about the menu and restaurant.
- Ensures a positive dining experience for arriving and departing guests.
- Performs other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrates a drive for exceptional service.
- Must be available for full-time flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 lbs.
- Proficient in or able to learn computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word, and Excel.
