About the Role
CEC Health Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Dental Assistant who enjoys patient care and wants to make a meaningful difference in community healthcare, serving historically underserved members of the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside dental assisting during procedures
- Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with NYS regulations
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
- Assist with dental lab procedures
- Maintain clinical supplies and dental equipment
- Support patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
- Communicate professionally with patients and caregivers
Requirements
- New York State Dental Assistant Certification
- Ability to take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills
