About the Role
Cornucopia's deli serves healthy, allergen-friendly food that is 100% non-GMO and almost entirely Organic. Deli Clerks provide immaculate customer service by pleasantly greeting customers, readily answering any questions they may have, performing light preparation, packaging, and serving our various dishes. The position is an excellent entry point to the world of customer service and prepared foods with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Greet all customers and provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Prepare, package, and serve menu items
- Ensure all products meet our standards and are fit for sale
- Log & dispose of product which do not meet our standards
- Adhere to all serving guidelines including portion size & proper labelling
- Adhere to proper health codes and standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
- Lightly clean all work surfaces upon completion of each day of business
- Prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for juices & smoothies
- Checks out customers efficiently and accurately
- Cleans and stocks Front End areas
- Follows all cash handling procedures
