About the Role
gigi is Europe's first AI networker for capital and strategic partnerships, connecting founders and investors. This role involves working alongside the Events & Community Lead and co-founders to engage with UK founders and investors at various events and build lasting relationships within the ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Explore UK conferences, accelerators, and ecosystem events, initiating conversations with organizers.
- Facilitate gigi's presence at partner events to connect attendees with the right people.
- Develop relationships with accelerators, angel networks, and university programs.
- Contribute to shaping a gigi event series in London for founders and investors.
- Manage event logistics including venues, guest lists, and run of show.
- Represent gigi at UK conferences and events.
- Engage with angel investors, funds, and family offices to connect them with founders.
- Assist new members in signing up and having their first call with gigi.
- Develop ideas and content to maintain founder and investor engagement between events.
- Analyze event performance and identify successful partners and reasons for success.
Requirements
- Experience organizing events from scratch (e.g., society events, meetups, conferences, clubs).
- Confidence in reaching out to new people, including founders, investors, and event organizers.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Clear and warm writing style.
- A genuine interest in equitable access to capital.
