About the Role
The Health & Safety Administrator at GFL oversees the health and safety of drivers and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare driver files, create health and safety materials and present to staff.
- Ensure health and safety standards are complied with.
- Follow up on training.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, customer service standards, and vehicle cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, municipal bylaws, company safety policies, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
- Work closely with Drivers and staff to support smooth, efficient daily operations.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- Experience with health & safety administration in a work environment.
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience including computer work.
- Ability to satisfy all company standards for safety-sensitive operational roles.
- Strong attendance record and flexibility to support operation needs.
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
- Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.
