About the Role
Onterris is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our Contaminated Land and Water team in our Brisbane office. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside over 45 land and water professionals across Australia, with a focus on mentoring, collaboration, and long-term career development.
Responsibilities
- Successfully project manage projects that are delivered on time and on budget
- Play a key role in overseeing and conducting detailed site inspections
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Prepare and submit complex reports and proposals
- Provide advice regarding environmental legislation and guidelines
- Mentor and develop juniors
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Environmental Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Management or related field
- 7+ years experience within contaminated land and water
- Solid understanding of QLD and national environmental frameworks
- Industry certification (CEnvP or CPSS) or keen interest to pursue this
