About the Role
Meeco Sullivan is hiring Production Assemblers to build custom timber floating docks in their Warwick, NY shop. Construction experience is a plus, and training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Build floating dock sections from timber and hardware
- Measure and cut wood to specification
- Use drills, saws, sanders, and other power tools
- Move lumber between the yard and the shop by forklift
- Assist with snow removal in winter
- Follow all safety rules
Requirements
- 1–3 years of construction or shop experience preferred
- Comfortable using power tools safely
- Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Able to stand for most of the shift, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a shop without air conditioning, with some outdoor work
- Reliable attendance
