About the Role
Triunity Software is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Toronto, ON, to work on cutting-edge software solutions and make a significant impact on important products. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about clean code and innovative technology.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and microservices.
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in software development and architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the full stack.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate.
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
