About the Role
Drive the digital transformation in building construction by advising clients and project teams on BIM expertise, establishing seamless processes, and ensuring effective use of models and data throughout all project phases. Contribute ideas to an interdisciplinary team and shape future-proof construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and project teams on strategic and operational BIM implementation in building construction.
- Develop project-specific BIM strategies, use cases, processes, and role models.
- Create and update client information requirements and BIM execution plans.
- Manage BIM projects from planning to execution for continuous use of models and data.
- Moderate workshops and support project teams in adopting BIM methods.
- Participate in bids, service descriptions, and the development of the BIM service portfolio.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in applying or consulting BIM in complex building construction projects.
- Experience in developing BIM strategies and in creating and updating client information requirements and BIM execution plans.
- Good knowledge of relevant BIM standards and methods, especially ISO 19650 and VDI 2552.
- Practical knowledge of BIM-based projects in planning and execution, and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
- Very good German language skills, good English language skills, and a communicative, structured way of working.
