About the Role
As a Painter & Decorator, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues in a Facilities Maintenance Team committed to the smooth and safe operation of HMP HIGHDOWN. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for prisoners, employees, and visitors, contributing to the mission of promoting rehabilitation and positive change.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
- Experience working in a maintenance team
- An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
