About the Role

As a Partner Solution Sales Manager, you will lead a team responsible for driving partner-led growth and creating strategic opportunities across industries. You will develop and execute partner sales strategies by connecting Microsoft’s product and industry priorities with partners’ business strategies, capabilities, and customer relationships. You will lead engagement across GSI and ESI partners, expanding relationships beyond account matching into strategic business-unit alignment, joint opportunity creation, technical enablement, and cross-organizational collaboration. Working as One Partner Team, you will orchestrate internal and external stakeholders to identify priority industries and accounts and accelerate flagship opportunities. As a people manager, you will set the overall strategic direction, coach and mentor team members, and build alignment and accountability around common priorities. Your success will be measured not only by individual deals, but by your team’s ability to create repeatable partner-led growth and customer impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the mid- to long-term Partner Solution Sales strategy across GSI and ESI partners, identifying priority industries, business units, partners, and customer opportunities where Microsoft and partners can jointly create differentiated value.
  • Lead strategic engagement with partner business units to create industry flagship opportunities.
  • Drive strategic alignment, joint account planning, technical enablement, and cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Lead the team to start from customer business challenges rather than individual products.
  • Connect Microsoft’s cross-solution portfolio with partner capabilities and industry expertise to build differentiated solutions and accelerate customer transformation.
  • Establish a predictable rhythm around pipeline, top opportunities, forecast, and partner performance.
  • Coach the team to accelerate opportunities, resolve blockers, and effectively leverage Microsoft programs, investments, and internal resources.
  • Combine Microsoft’s product and go-to-market strategy with partners’ business priorities to help partners develop new capabilities, offerings, delivery models, and scalable business opportunities.
  • Lead collaboration across GSI, ESI, Channel, and other ecosystem partners while aligning relevant Microsoft sales, technical, industry, and partner teams.
  • Set clear priorities, roles, and expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Set clear strategic direction and translate it into team priorities and execution.
  • Coach and mentor team members, empower them to lead complex partner engagements, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and growth.
  • Use pipeline, revenue, consumption, partner performance, and market insights to assess progress, identify gaps, and adjust strategy and resource allocation to maximize business impact.
