About the Role
We are seeking a Freelance Event Producer to elevate our monthly Club Night and Club Ritual events, as well as our larger capsule events. This role is responsible for shaping each event from conception to completion, ensuring they align with the Club Athletic brand and enhance the member experience.
Responsibilities
- Produce Club Night and Club Ritual each month, and lead our capsule events.
- Design the full member experience, including invitations, arrival, event flow, special moments, and follow-up.
- Ensure all events remain true to the Club Athletic brand.
- Leverage NYC network to secure appropriate partners for each event.
- Manage event commercials, including budget creation, vendor negotiation, contract management, and financial reporting.
- Oversee behind-the-scenes details such as timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, contracts, and contingency plans.
- Pay close attention to event details including music, lighting, signage, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Provide proactive updates on event progress.
- Liaise with local managers in Chicago and Hoboken to ensure event consistency across all locations.
Requirements
- Possess a portfolio showcasing a distinct point of view with an emphasis on restraint over trends.
- Be based in New York and have a strong network within the city's event industry.
- Demonstrate organization, composure under pressure, and the ability to deliver on time and within budget.
- Have a background in hospitality, members’ clubs, wellness, or brand experiences.
