About the Role
Lead analytics for the Growth and Placement areas of Acrisure’s North American Insurance (NAI) business. This role involves turning data and models into decisions that influence how the company wins, places, and retains business. You will build and lead a team to deliver analytics tied to measurable revenue and placement outcomes, and scale these capabilities across the business.
Responsibilities
- Own the analytics agenda for growth and placement in North American Insurance (NAI), from sizing opportunities to measuring realized impact.
- Break down ambiguous business problems into clear questions, then deliver analyses, models, and tools that put insight into the hands of producers, placement teams, and leaders.
- Apply advanced methods (predictive modeling, segmentation, experimentation, optimization) to improve revenue growth, carrier and market placement, win rates, and retention.
- Embed analytics in operating workflows so insights drive day-to-day decisions, and track the business impact of each deployment.
- Translate findings for audiences of every technical level in a way that inspires action.
- Set up the tools and monitoring that guide execution.
- Become an expert in Acrisure’s business drivers and the integrated choices that optimize performance.
- Partner cross-functionally to align on priorities, gain buy-in on approach, and measure impact.
- Run the intake and evaluation of gaps and opportunities.
- Set priorities and manage the roadmap with key stakeholders.
- Build and lead a high-performing team.
- Set up operating processes that keep the team agile as it grows.
- Develop training that helps team members and adjacent stakeholders get the most from data and analytics outputs, and enable effective self-service.
- Serve as a domain expert to keep our technologies and analytics processes future-proof.
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience in data analytics or adjacent quantitative fields (Analytics, Strategy, Business Operations, Finance, etc.).
- 3+ years of direct people management experience required.
- Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
- Final candidates will be required to complete post-offer verification processes related to the role and in accordance with applicable laws.
Skills
- Applied analytics leader with a track record of taking analytics from concept to production and showing measurable business impact.
- Analytical with strong business acumen; ability to decompose real-world problems, build financial models, and think through business implications.
- Comfortable with data and ambiguity.
- Proficient in high-growth analytics, understanding which insights drive growth and comfortable using advanced methods to drive revenue.
- Ability to build people and capabilities, creating impact by helping the team grow.
- Concise, effective communicator, able to distill complex analysis into clear takeaways for audiences at all levels.
- Strong prioritizer, able to balance many competing demands and act like an owner in an unstructured environment.
- Relationship-builder, able to build trust quickly with internal stakeholders and partners, with empathy and a team-first attitude.
- High-energy, productive in a fast-paced environment with limited day-to-day oversight.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir (Foundry or similar) to build and deploy operational, decision-oriented analytics (Nice to Have).
