About the Role

Oversee daily sales order management and provide presale support. Optimize processes and manage projects to meet stakeholder needs, streamline order management, and eliminate inefficiencies. Become proficient in the Quoting Tool, test new releases, and support Sales and Sales Operations teams.

Responsibilities

Responsible for order creation, ensuring timely and appropriate entry, acting on exceptions, and verifying order validity and documentation.
Manage backlog in collaboration with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Shipping, and Sales teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Test new releases and products in the Quoting Tool, understand product quoting, and support the Field Sales and Sales Operations Teams.
Support and lead continuous improvement opportunities within systems and workflows to increase efficiency and add value to the order process.
Ensure data quality and support processes and improvements for better data.
Understand customer satisfaction and prioritize meeting customer needs.
Develop strong partnerships with Sales, Finance, and other functional organizations.
Educate sales representatives on sales operations processes and best practices.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
7+ years of sales administration, order entry, and sales operations experience with a broad background in daily operations (sales order entry, sales returns, scheduling, billing, material transfer requests, inside sales etc.).
Knowledge of international business logistics as it relates to order management, shipping, and billing.
Experience collaborating with cross-departmental teams.
In-depth functional knowledge of Salesforce is preferred.
Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels within the company.
Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving, and strategic/tactical planning skills.
Strong understanding of business and sales processes and internal controls.
Demonstrated experience using new tools and software systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Sales organization.
