About the Role
Warehouse Associates contribute to world-class store performance by supporting branch strategy, performance, and growth. Shipper/Receivers manage incoming orders, process outgoing shipments, and maintain branch organization.
Responsibilities
- Receive purchase orders and transfers, including inter-company transfers.
- Process outgoing product shipments via UPS or other delivery methods.
- Perform delivery driving if needed (NON CDL).
- Document and resolve discrepancies related to transfers and purchase orders.
- Stock products in their correct warehouse locations.
- Process customer orders and provide technical advice.
- Pull orders and prepare loads for customer delivery.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Partner with branch leadership to implement new technologies and work methods to positively impact business performance.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
- Landscape, Nursery, or Irrigation product knowledge is helpful.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
