About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer at vCluster Labs, you will be the primary advocate for how engineers experience the vCluster Platform. You will collaborate closely with a fast-paced frontend engineering team to transform complex technical challenges into intuitive user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver polished UI for the vCluster Platform, from concept to final execution.
- Work closely with frontend engineers to scope and execute product design work.
- Understand backend engineering capabilities to ensure technical feasibility.
- Research technical requirements and proposed solutions through UX studies and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define design direction.
- Ensure product visuals align with vCluster Labs' brand identity by working with Brand Designers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B product design experience, preferably for products used by engineers, DevOps, or platform teams.
- Ability to understand complex software engineering concepts.
- A user-centric approach focused on understanding user needs.
- Strong visual design skills for creating clear and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
- Willingness to learn highly technical subject matter through documentation and experimentation.
- Strong communication skills for presentations and defending design decisions.
- Ability to question assumptions to improve solutions.
