About the Role
Snap is seeking an experienced Executive Producer to lead Global Studio Services. This role is the senior production and service leader for Snap Studio, responsible for ensuring the organization operates as a strategic, scalable, and trusted partner to Snap’s internal customers. The Executive Producer will oversee a diverse portfolio of creative and production work from intake through delivery, while also shaping the systems, staffing model, workflows, and operating rituals that enable the team to deliver high-quality work at scale. This person will lead through influence across a multidisciplinary team of producers, designers, editors, 3D artists, studio operations partners, contractors, agencies, and vendors. The ideal candidate is an exceptional producer and people leader who can move comfortably between executive-level strategy and hands-on delivery, bringing structure to ambiguity, making clear prioritization and resourcing decisions, building strong cross-functional relationships, and maintaining a high bar for creative quality, operational rigor, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the Snap Studio service model and operating strategy across always-on services and project-based production.
- Lead the full lifecycle of a high-volume, cross-functional portfolio, from intake and scope definition through creative development, production, post-production, approvals, delivery, and archival.
- Establish and lead the Snap Studio intake, triage, and greenlight process, balancing business priorities, creative ambition, team capacity, timing, and budget.
- Serve as a senior partner to internal customers and executive stakeholders, setting expectations, aligning on scope and priorities, and communicating progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly.
- Oversee the delivery of complex productions and content packages, including video, photography, design, social assets, sizzles, event content, 3D/AR work, and other marketing deliverables.
- Provide executive production leadership on high-visibility work and remain hands-on when needed, including developing briefs, shaping creative approaches, producing shoots, directing teams, and guiding work through final delivery.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary production ecosystem spanning producers, creative producers, designers, editors, post-production, 3D/AR, studio operations, digital asset management, contractors, agencies, and external vendors.
- Own capacity planning and resource allocation across the Snap Studio portfolio, including short-term labor, contractor workforce planning, vendor strategy, and long-term staffing recommendations.
- Build and maintain scalable production workflows, project management systems, dashboards, and operating rituals that improve visibility, accountability, intake, delivery, and archival.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, People, Legal, Brand, Marketing, Product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are properly scoped, staffed, contracted, budgeted, and delivered in compliance with Snap processes.
- Partner closely on Snap Studio budget management, forecasting, purchase order tracking, vendor management, contract compliance, cost-savings analysis, and executive reporting.
- Lead quarterly and annual planning processes, including strategic planning, operating plans, resource recommendations, project briefs, and executive presentations.
- Identify operational, creative, financial, and resourcing risks early, and drive clear mitigation plans through resolution.
- Partner with Studio Operations on the roadmap for studio infrastructure, equipment, production technology, and capabilities that improve quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Represent and communicate the value of Snap Studio through internal service documentation, customer-facing materials, case studies, and impact reporting.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture through clear communication, thoughtful team rituals, and consistent creative and operational standards.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end creative production lifecycle, from strategy and concept development through production, post-production, delivery, and archival.
- Strong knowledge of video, photography, design, digital, social, event, 3D, AR, and emerging production workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of production workflows, including pre-production planning, budgeting, scheduling, crew management, on-set execution, post-production, and final asset delivery.
- Experience navigating production-related legal requirements, including licensing, music rights, talent releases, insurance, permitting, and production safety protocols.
- Strong technical understanding of camera systems, lighting, audio, live production, broadcast workflows, and post-production technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex portfolios with competing priorities, ambiguous inputs, global stakeholders, and varied deadlines.
- Strong understanding of resource planning, staffing models, vendor management, budgets, forecasting, contracts, and production operations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to establish structure and momentum across multiple workstreams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior executives and build trust with internal customers.
- Strong judgment and a solutions-oriented approach to risk, ambiguity, and rapidly changing business needs.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on production execution.
- Passion for building scalable systems and improving how creative teams work.
- 8+ years of experience in creative production, video production, integrated production, creative operations, studio management, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams and managing a high volume of complex projects in parallel.
- Experience operating in an in-house creative studio, production company, creative agency, or comparable environment.
- Experience managing global brands, high-visibility campaigns, executive content, or complex cross-functional programs.
- Demonstrated experience with production budgets, forecasting, purchase orders, contracts, vendors, and external partners.
- Experience developing or improving intake, project management, resourcing, and reporting systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
