About the Role
Develop and implement observability solutions to monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems. Oversee the development and maintenance of observability tools and platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization. Create or enhance platform libraries and related infrastructure to capture telemetry from Aladdin applications. Design or enhance dashboards and alerts used for monitoring and troubleshooting of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, SRE and client support, to ensure seamless and effective use of observability solutions. Work with development teams to remove roadblocks for increased adoption, and improve maturity of their observability implementations. Partner with observability vendors to evaluate new features and maintain existing services.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as an Application Engineer, Associate, Analyst, or related role.
- Five (5) years of experience with software engineering in an enterprise environment.
- Five (5) years of experience with Java, Python, and Go.
- Five (5) years of experience with Kubernetes.
- Five (5) years of experience with Azure Cloud and AWS.
- Five (5) years of experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps.
- Five (5) years of experience with database experience including Sybase and MSSQL.
- Five (5) years of experience with observability platforms including Grafana and Splunk.
- Five (5) years of experience with PromQL.
- Four (4) years of experience with OpenTelemetry agents and collector.
- Four (4) years of experience with TraceQL and LogQL.
- Four (4) years of experience with data platforms including Snowflake.
