About the Role
This per-visit role is designed to provide supplemental income for an LPN who already has a primary job. It involves conducting supervisory visits, open visits, and pre-employment testing for Home Health Aide candidates, with compensation based on completed visits or tasks and mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Complete open visits for new clients.
- Conduct regular supervisory visits every 60 days to check on Home Health Aides.
- Complete pre-employment testing for Home Health Aide candidates, including skills tests and written tests.
- Prepare accurate and thorough documentation according to agency standards and regulatory requirements.
- Travel to clients' homes across Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties.
- Use company-provided iPad with data plan for work.
- Respond to phone calls to schedule visits.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance that covers driving for work.
- Current CPR certification.
- Successful completion of criminal background check, skills test, and written nursing test.
- Residence in Trumbull or Mahoning County preferred.
- Must be able to access homes that may not be wheelchair accessible.
- Comfortable using a calculator.
- Competent operation of company-provided iPad with data plan.
- Appropriate use of company-provided name badge and cardigan with "Haven" logo.
