About the Role
The Elevator Attendant provides prompt and exceptional service to patients and visitors, creating a welcoming and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Verbally greets and opens doors for patients entering/exiting the elevator.
- Navigates elevator for patients.
- Answers directory questions as needed.
- Maintains complete knowledge and complies with NEMS policies and procedures.
- Remains calm, attentive, and responsive during high business volume and emergencies.
- Routinely sanitizes elevator ensuring cleanliness.
- Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to verbally communicate in English.
- Must be able to speak Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
- The ability to speak another language is an asset.
