About the Role
We are seeking Senior Python Developers to join our back-end development team. This is a varied and challenging programming role involving managing incoming data, analyzing large datasets with AI Engineers, and writing Restful APIs in Django to support the React front end. We encourage engineers to take responsibility for solving problems and offer opportunities to innovate by collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement new features. You will be well supported with professional development resources and have opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Implementing robust and scalable solutions in Python.
- Developing, using and designing REST APIs to efficiently deliver application components.
- Implementing performance improvement strategies.
- Ensuring the quality of code by writing comprehensive tests and participating in code reviews.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Python coding professional experience
- Ability to learn and apply new technology quickly
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with coding in Django and the Django Rest Framework, or Flask Web frameworks
- Degree in Computer Science (or similar), at 2:1 or above
- Amazon Web Services
