About the Role
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Claim Advisor, Auto. Your work week will be Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, though work hours depend on the needs of the department.
Responsibilities
- Review insurance policy and coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
- Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices
- Collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement
Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of customer service experience
- Previous auto adjuster experience preferred
- Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
