About the Role
Ellipsis Health is seeking its first Recruiting Coordinator to build and own the recruiting operations and candidate experience from the ground up. This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to be a founding member of the Talent function, shaping hiring strategy and operations alongside the Head of Talent.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Talent to design and set the strategy for recruiting operations, including processes, tools, and scaling hiring.
- Build out the talent tech stack in Ashby, including workflows, scheduling automation, candidate communications, and pipeline reporting.
- Evaluate, set up, and manage sourcing platforms and their integrations with Ashby.
- Create playbooks, templates, and documentation for the next stage of growth.
- Own interview coordination end to end across multi-stage loops, time zones, and formats, including virtual and in-person interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to design interview plans, loops, and scorecards, and ensure timely feedback.
- Host candidates onsite, ensuring a welcoming and organized visit.
- Manage shifting schedules and priorities to keep the hiring process moving.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely information and preparation.
- Ensure a clear, responsive, and human candidate experience.
- Audit and update job postings on LinkedIn, the careers page, and other channels for accuracy and brand consistency.
- Help launch and run programs such as interview training, referral drives, sourcing events, and onboarding preparation.
- Track pipeline data and surface insights to improve hiring efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of recruiting coordination, talent operations, or related experience at a technology company.
- Startup DNA: experience at an early-stage startup or thriving in ambiguity.
- Builder mindset: ability to identify and automate manual steps in scheduling and workflows.
- Exceptional organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple high-priority tasks.
- Keen attention to detail, particularly regarding time zones, links, and handoffs.
- Passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in partnering with founders and senior leaders.
- Understanding of how to use LinkedIn and other job boards to audit, optimize, and update job postings.
- Knowledge of sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut, Juicebox) and their ATS integrations.
