About the Role
Construct active asset allocation strategies and whole portfolio solutions across a wide spectrum of commingled funds, separate accounts, model portfolios, and outsourcing solutions. Evaluate and recommend equity or fixed income strategies and asset classes globally. Identify investment managers best able to complete these and tailor investment solutions to global clients.
Responsibilities
- Construct active asset allocation strategies and whole portfolio solutions.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations on equity or fixed income strategies and asset classes.
- Make well-researched recommendations on asset class opportunities.
- Identify investment managers best able to complete these.
- Work closely with BlackRock multi-manager investments teams.
- Tailor investment solutions to global clients.
- Own recommended investment strategies and ongoing monitoring.
- Participate in the design and ongoing management of portfolios.
- Document research findings from initial due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
- Prepare reports summarizing manager performance and portfolio positioning.
- Stay up to date with products and trends in the investment management industry.
- Represent BlackRock and Manager Research in client meetings and to the investment industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Business, or related field.
- 36 months of experience in job offered, or closely related role.
- Three (3) years of experience with Equity and Fixed Income.
- Three (3) years of experience with Sourcing investment ideas.
- Three (3) years of experience with conducting statistical analysis using eVestment, Morningstar, and Bloomberg.
- Three (3) years of experience with Risk Modeling and Financial Modeling.
- Three (3) years of experience with Calculating and analyzing risk with regard to asset classes and portfolios.
- Three (3) years of experience with Creating Risk Reports.
- Three (3) years of experience with Portfolio construction.
- Three (3) years of experience with Equity, fixed income, liquid alternatives, and hedge funds.
- Three (3) years of experience with Asset management.
- Three (3) years of experience with Sourcing and conducting Investment due diligence on managers.
- Three (3) years of experience with Python and SQL.
- Three (3) years of experience with Writing and presenting technical investment memos for internal and external stakeholders.
