About the Role
As a Specialty Cook, you’re not just preparing high-quality dishes within a specific area of expertise – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Cook menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Execute the preparation and presentation of specialty dishes (e.g., sushi or regional cuisine)
- Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings and food products
- Visually inspect all prepared dishes before serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards
- Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
