About the Role
Colton RV & Marine is seeking a dynamic and experienced Parts Manager to lead their Parts Department. This role focuses on operational efficiency, inventory management, and customer satisfaction, driving sales and fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Produce defined sales and gross margins for company sustainability and growth.
- Develop and execute plans to achieve budgeted sales, margins, and efficiencies.
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies.
- Ensure efficient processing of special orders, accurate receiving, and effective internal communication.
- Develop and execute retail and orientation processes to provide high customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Monitor and control assets including Parts Inventory, Open Purchase Orders, and Parts AR.
- Build vendor partnerships to negotiate pricing and provide team support.
- Build and lead a cohesive team aligned with company values.
- Coach and model company values and daily store activities.
- Ensure the department is properly structured and staffed with ideal team players.
- Develop the team through reviews, development plans, training, rewards, promotions, and disciplinary tools.
- Proactively identify and resolve employee issues and concerns.
- Communicate company policies, procedures, and performance/goal tracking.
- Create an environment that results in unmatched customer service and customer loyalty.
- Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through timely service, support, and follow-up.
- Ensure products are professionally displayed and facilities are clean, safe, organized, and professional.
- Develop, communicate, and execute strategic marketing plans in coordination with leadership and marketing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in a store management leadership role in a retail environment.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays (as needed), and special events.
Skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve great success.
- Mentoring, coaching, and development of skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to learn proprietary programs.
