Responsibilities
- Perform physical testing of various construction materials including concrete, masonry, soil, aggregate, and rock in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO methods.
- Follow safety standards and procedures.
- Accurately enter test results into electronic report templates.
- Effectively communicate with other laboratory staff and supervisors.
Requirements
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills.
- A valid New York State driver’s license.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to work independently.
