About the Role
Ensure the safe and reliable operation of robotic systems during live testing and deployment at client sites. Play a critical role in maintaining safety standards, protecting personnel and hardware, and supporting experimental operations. Work closely with engineering and research teams to monitor, evaluate, and refine robot behavior in real-world environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control robotic systems to ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Intervene in real time when unsafe behavior or unexpected events occur (e.g., activate emergency stop or perform recovery)
- Conduct pre-task safety inspections and maintain secure testing environments
- Record safety events and performance data to support continuous improvement
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
