About the Role
Upstream Hospitality Group is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Morning Restaurant Cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the restaurant is ready for guests each day and supports the overall team effort.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, bar areas, and restrooms.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Clean interior glass, windows, and entry doors.
- Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, ledges, baseboards, and other high-touch areas.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean entryways and maintain a welcoming appearance.
- Complete additional general cleaning tasks as needed.
- Ensure all assigned cleaning duties are completed before the restaurant opens.
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning or restaurant cleaning experience preferred.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safely use cleaning products.
- Must be available for early morning shifts, including weekends.
