About the Role
Work and train with industry professionals on exciting and technically challenging construction projects. This Co-op student position offers the opportunity to apply academic training and skills in a real-world setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate bid and proposal inputs from various stakeholders.
- Support bid planning by managing submission requirements, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Review RFPs, tender documents, and contracts to identify requirements, risks, and obligations.
- Facilitate internal bid coordination meetings and communicate updates.
- Coordinate client communications related to proposal requirements and clarifications.
- Track action items, responsibilities, and deliverables for timely completion.
- Monitor submission readiness and proactively resolve issues.
- Review proposal and technical deliverables for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with preliminary estimates, quantity take-offs, and budget assessments.
- Provide project coordination support and collaborate across teams.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering.
- Ability to take initiative, pay attention to details, and work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the design of municipal infrastructure projects preferred.
- Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset.
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills.
