About the Role
In collaboration with patients, families, and staff, this role provides pharmaceutical care services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and accurate prescription dispensing.
- Conduct patient drug regimen reviews.
- Provide patient prescription counseling.
- Prepare and maintain required records.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Ensure all patient care tasks comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Develop and maintain favorable internal relationships and partnerships.
- Interact respectfully and collaboratively with patients and families.
- Collaborate with the care team in providing patient-centered care.
- Represent the organization professionally in all actions and communications.
- Uphold and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, mission, and values.
- Complete all mandatory training and maintain appropriate credentials/licensure.
Requirements
- Two years of community pharmacy experience required.
- Experience as a technician or intern may count towards experience.
- Five years of pharmacy experience in a community clinic setting preferred.
- Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Current Health Care Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Must maintain current CPR certification during employment.
Skills
- High level of skill at building relationships.

- High degree of knowledge of drug therapy.
- Proficiency in dispensing medications.
- Basic computer systems knowledge, including Microsoft Office products.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience Level
- Two years of community pharmacy experience
- Five years of pharmacy experience in community clinic setting
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
