About the Role

New Hope Fertility Center is a leading fertility clinic that combines gentle, low-dose assisted fertility methods with cutting-edge technology and customized care. We offer pregnancy success rates comparable to Conventional IVF treatment, but without the trauma and stress of high-dose hormone therapy. We provide a full range of IVF services, including fertility diagnosis, PGD genetic testing, IVF treatments, embryo banking, donor and surrogate services, egg freezing, and reproductive surgeries for male and female infertility.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures according to established methods.
Conduct routine quality control and quality assurance procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas at the start and end of each workday.
Ensure availability of reagents and lab supplies.
Verify that all necessary lab equipment is in working order.
Ensure Andrology patients complete requisitions accurately.
Instruct patients on proper specimen collection.
Log in and accession specimens properly.
Prepare specimens and label tubes and slides for assay.
Perform semen analysis and other tests with minimal supervision.
Complete worksheets and record results.
Submit results to the lab director for approval.
Inventory supplies and request necessary purchases.
Maintain log sheets for controls, quality control, etc.
Generate lab test reports for referring physicians.
Perform quality control of final lab test reports before transmission to doctors.

Requirements

Must be thoroughly trained in human fertility laboratory techniques, with willingness to train in-house.
Proficiency in routine semen analysis.
Proficiency in human sperm preparation techniques for assisted reproductive therapies.
Proficiency in advanced laboratory tests for human sperm functions and fertilizing capacity.
Proficiency in human sperm Cryopreservation.
Ability to assist patients with specimen collection and accessioning.
Proficiency in quality control and quality assurance procedures.
Ability to conduct technical work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
