About the Role
The clinical Audiologist is responsible for providing direct audiological services to patients in all age groups, including diagnostic testing, counseling and rehabilitation, primarily in an outpatient setting and inpatient as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct audiological services to patients in all age groups.
- Perform diagnostic testing.
- Provide counseling and rehabilitation services.
- Offer services primarily in an outpatient setting and inpatient as needed.
Requirements
- Must have either a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) or have American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification.
- Must possess or be eligible for current state licensure in Audiology.
- Certain positions may also require a Hearing Aid Dispensing License.
- Certifications must be maintained throughout tenure.
