About the Role

Team Tomlinson's is seeking Delivery Associates passionate about helping customers find the right nutrition for their pets. As a W-2 employee, you will be a key part of our local leadership in healthy, natural pet nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a timely manner.
• Review orders before delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Load and unload items into vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner so that product will not be damaged during the delivery process.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handle complaints from clients.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Work with dispatching team to resolve problems including order accuracy, and customer communication if needed (wrong address, gate code, etc.).
• Complete training courses to build product knowledge and stay up to date on new promos, products, and procedures.
• Assist in-store between delivery runs.

Requirements

• Delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A clean driving record.
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Up to date car registration.
• A smartphone with the ability to use our delivery app to navigate.
• The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to pick and deliver orders.

Salary/Compensations

• $15 per hour starting rate
• Mileage reimbursement of 76 cents per mile driven
• Average earnings between $20 - $25/hour with mileage reimbursement
