About the Role
The Digital Career Institute (DCI) is a leading provider of digital further education in Germany, helping individuals restart their careers by connecting education, the job market, and companies. We are seeking an experienced professional to support curriculum development in System Administration and Cyber Security.
Responsibilities
- Conduct practice-oriented online teaching in System Administration, Network Technology, and Cyber Security.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials, practical exercises, labs, and assessments.
- Provide technical support to participants with practical tasks and technical challenges.
- Teach fundamentals in Linux, network security, system protection, and incident response.
- Evaluate learning progress, provide individual feedback, and foster independent problem-solving.
- Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts for MS Cloud and Cyber Security.
Requirements
- Solid practical experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, and network technology.
- Proficient knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, SSH, and authorization management.
- Experience with IT security fundamentals such as hardening, patch management, vulnerability management, and logging.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Familiarity with Bash, PowerShell, and structured technical troubleshooting.
- Didactic competence and ideally experience in adult education or online teaching.
