About the Role
The Customer Service Return Associate is a vital part of the returns process, involving internal auditing, checking procedures and paperwork, and reporting findings. The role requires attention to detail, organization, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Checking the accuracy of documentation and procedures regarding returns.
- Verifying customer account notations, refunds, and documentation for requests.
- Following up with customers via phone for refunds or additional information.
- Maintaining reports and spreadsheets regarding returns, including weekly reports to the department manager.
- Ensuring proper procedures are followed, including waste disposal and product destruction.
- Conducting warehouse checks as needed, following provided spreadsheets.
- Receiving and distributing return packages from the lobby.
- Reporting any issues encountered to the department manager.
- Inspecting returns pallets for safety, accessibility, and readiness for pickup.
- Maintaining clean workstations and ensuring adherence to proper procedures.
- Assisting in all facets of the department, with duties potentially changing daily.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Phone experience preferred.
- Must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes, which include testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.
